Drop Fade
A drop fade follows the curve behind the ear — higher in front, lower toward the nape — so the blend hugs the head instead of cutting a straight line around.
A drop fade is a fade whose line drops as it travels back: tighter at the temple, more weight behind the ear and down the nape. It photographs clean from the side and still looks intentional from behind.
At LXVE Studios (3700 S Hualapai Way #108, Las Vegas, NV 89147), drop fades are typically booked as a Clean Up when you mainly need clipper work, or as a full Haircut when you want scissors on top plus wash and style. Your barber sets how hard the drop is to match your head shape.
Maintenance is usually every 2 weeks if you want the drop permanently tight. We will show you the curve so at-home cleanup does not flatten it into a straight fade.
LXVE Studios is rated 4.8★ from 238 Google reviews. Guests visit from Summerlin, Spring Valley, and across the valley for consistent work at 3700 S Hualapai Way #108.
